Seriah this is fascinating

Well as winter drags on at times it seems it will never end. The kids and myself are a bit stir crazy. I can only imagine how the Teachers at the kids schools feel. However winter does bring some fun moments too. My kids always find fun ways to entertain themselves, Jayce brings lots of fun games. Teleah loves that he is always a captive audience. Whatever Teleah or Seriah are doing Jayce is so amazed by it. Up until now he had always just gone along with what they wanted to do but now the fun begins he is beginning to want to do what he wants and getting upset with them not doing what he wants in the right way. It is so fun to watch his little personality come out and to see how they interact with each other. I do wonder what will happen this summer when the girls go outside and he has to stay in. I predict it will not go over well with Jayce. Seriah is such a little mother she loves to care for him and she is just so sweet to him.

The New Year

Wow it is 2011! I cant believe where time has gone. I am not really making any new years resolution this year since they always seem to fall by the waste side by mid january. So instead I am just focusing on what i am so thankful for....
Sean is such a great husband and a wonderful man of god he leads our family in the way the Lord has set out. that is not to say he is always perfect but pretty close for me. I love him so much. I just thank God for him.
Seriah is ten years old and so funny she is getting ready to enter a phase in life that will be so exciting and so scary at the same time. Yesterday my mother in-law (Carol) and sister in-law (Becky) and i took Seriah shopping for clothes to spend her gift cards from Christmas. she was so funny she could not seem to care at all about the task at hand. she was more interested in the bin of bouncy ball next to the fitting room then the picking out clothes. so I picked and asked her what she thought and she kept saying I dont care. I thought she didn't have fun then later that night all she talked about was having fun shopping with mommy, Becky and Mama. I know the day will come when i will look back on days like that and miss them. I thank God for her personality.
Teleah is six, seven next month. she is in first grade and so full of spunk. She really wants to do everything by her self but sometimes needs help but wont ask. She has such a passion for Christ. last Sunday during worship i was singing and i looked over to see Teleah hands in the air and such a look of passion on her face it touched me to see such a love for god at this young age. She says to me mommy i just want to learn about Jesus. She amazes me daily. She loves her little brother so much she is always mothering him and trying to help him even if he doesn't want her help.
Jayce is 16 month's he is such a happy guy. Jayce is always smiling and joyful. He is now walking along everything. he has not yet walked by himself but I am sure it wont be long. He loves to play with cars and get into everything.

The summer is half over I cannot believe it. The girls have had fun with swimming lessons and had lots of fun swimming out the pool. We started the year with Teleah's fear of getting her head wet now she jumps of the side of the pool over and over again. Seriah is growing up to be such a lovely young lady. Jayce has made such great strides in the past few months he is now sitting and talking more.

Where does time go. Summer is hear and ow Teleah is a first grader and Seriah is now a 5th grader. I cannot believe this. They are growing so fast. Teleah sat down yesterday and read me a book! (with very little help) Seriah has regularly pointed out to me tat she is a TWEEN! So she is now learning that with Independence comes responsibility. Jayce has been rolling around on the floor and smiling at everyone he is full of kisses and is just a all around happy baby.

I have been making all of Jayce's baby food and I am truly enjoying it. I dabbled with it when Seriah was a baby but decided not to then. With Teleah there was so much going on so I didn't even attempt it. However this time I jumped in with both feet. I have been steaming and pureeing and freezing. My freezer is filled with so many frozen ice cubes of fruits and veggies. The really nice thing is my girls have actually been trying some of them to Some of these veggies they had refused to try before. Since they have helped me a few times they become curious as to what it taste like. Love it. Jayce loves all of it too.

6 months old

Where has the last six months gone. I seemed to be so slow at the begining but now everything is going good and he is doing so good. Jayce is now 13lbs and 24 inches long. he is so full of smiles for everyone. Starting to sit with help and loves his fruits.

Well tonight was Teleah's kindergarten spring sing. She was so excited after many years of trying to sit and watch Seriah during her school concerts it was finally Teleah's turn. she said she was excited because she got to sing and because Seriah just was gonna watch. It was her own thing and she was so proud. We were so proud of her too. I cant believe my baby girl is in school. I too am used to her sitting next to me at these thing but to see her doing it was very strange and great at the same time. So here are some pics from the night

6 months

There has been a lot of sickness in this house I cant wait for the warm weather so we can all get out. Seriah is so busy in the fourth grade She loves school. Seriah is also in girl scouts we are right now in process of delivering 180 girl scout cookies she sold. It has been full of fun activities.

Teleah is loving school and cant wait to see her teacher everyday. Teleah is starting to recognize word now and when I read to her she yells out the words on the page that she can read. It is so fun watching the pages come alive for her.


wow where has time gone? I cant believe Jayce is already 6 months old. He is just the best baby he is always smiling and laughing. He is such a joy. He loves watching the girls run around he seems like he is taking them in and I know hell be going after them in no time. The girls are head over heals for him too. As soon as they get home from school they run to him and he loves it.

As most of you know Teleah is a bit of a handful at times, but also full of personality. Here are some recent Teleah stories.
The other night Teleah was getting in trouble and was going to get a spanking and she ran up to the top bunk bed in her room where I could not reach her. I told her she needed to get down now. When she threw her hands in the air and with such conviction and concern told me "mommy I cant come down because if you spank me I'm gonna scream like a little girl and then I will wake up Jayce and you will be mad at me" Sometimes its really hard not to crack up at her logic. I did end up giving her just one more chance no spanking that night.

today she is not feeling well and is home from school. She does not like missing school at all. I called the doctor to let them know her symptoms and she informed me that I needed to let them know she was "eating rice chex and that is making me all better well a little bit all better." the nurse asked if there was anything else she wanted her to tell the doctor she said "yes Seriah is at school and thats not fair, and I am not"

Well it has been a long time since I have posted but life around here got a little tense. Jayce was put back in the hospital and had to have another surgery, they unblocked his gallbladder and the ducts around it. Then after surgery his stomach swelled up so huge it looked like it would pop. He had a infection so he had to go on a complete seven day with out any food. So we were in the hospital for two weeks. It was long and hard. But we are home now and he is doing good. This has been such a trying time that I could not have gotten through with out my God and Saviour. he gives us strength when we don't think there is anymore in us he sustains us when we want to give up. He gives us hope when there is none, then he sends us people in our lives that help us out when we need it. I cant thank everyone enough for all the prayers, dinners and helping with the girls that was given our way. But most of all the prayers, thank you so much for everything.
I thank God everyday for the people in our lives.
