Well today I got to go to peoria with my friend Sally. We spent the day with Jayce in the NICU. Jayce looked great he is doing amazing. they started him on breast milk yesterday and he is handleing it very well. he is eating and pooping like he is suposed to. By morning he will be on 1oz of milk and then they will start him on enzymes. they are feeding him every three hours and uping how much they give him every three feedings. by early next week he will be on 2oz. then if he does well on that for 48 hours he can come home. SO BY THIS TIME NEXT WEEK IF ALL GOES WELL HE WILL BE HOME. I can barley contain my excitment. i got to hold him all day and cuddled him alot i was in heaven. He is now only one one IV. and his feeding tube was taken out tonight. The last IV will be stopped by tomarrow. So he will have no more tubes by tomarrow evening.

jayce
Well this has been a very long hard week. Jayce was air lifted to the Peoria hospital on wendesday and they did surgery on him that night. They had to get the blockage out befre it caused a rupture. The surgery went really well they were able to fix the problem with out cutting into his internal organs. That was really good since had they had to it would have had a whole other set of issues. So he is doing good he is still sleeping from the surgery and they are slowly waking him up. He looked so much better after the surgery. this is going to be a long road he will not be able to come home for at least two weeks. so please pray for him to recover and for our girls to this is very hard on them and there are alot of tears. Me and Sean came home for a few days last night to be with them. I am trying to take these days and get myself better to so that I am able to walk again and be able to be there for my new son and my daughters and husband. i am so blessed to have such a wonderful family and friends who have been there so much for all of us. This is going to be a long raod and I would love all the prayers that we can get. This is going to be a few weeks of alot of traveling and juggling, not to mention alot of emotions.

update

Well today has been a roller coster of emotions. I really want to just bring Jayce home. It is really hard not being able to take care of him or even hold him when I want to, however I know this soon will pass. We did find out that the blockage is 80% gone now and that is great news. Once the blockage is gone he will have to show a pattern of being able to eat and then poop. So at least another few days, sigh.
I am still very sore and my feet are larger then they were before I had him. I am very tierd but can not sleep. So please keep us in your prayers. This is very Hard. I know God is in control and that is what is keeping me moving.

the first day of school
The first day of school….
Seriah started the fourth grade; I can’t believe my baby is in fourth grade. It seems like time is flying by. This year the school had to have another fourth grade class so Seriah got the class that is up in the fifth grade hallway and that means they are the only fourth grade class to get lockers. Lockers are so exciting it was all she talked about for weeks we even got her a locker mirror. It is so funny how something that might seem trivial is so exciting at this age. I am very blessed because Seriah has always and still does really love school she can’t wait to get there and look forward to what will happen every day if only I had that enthusiasm when I was her age I think school would have been easier for myself. So we try to encourage her love of school. She also is a very good big sister and has been coaching Teleah on school and how great it is. Teleah started kindergarten this week. She also could not wait to get there and wanted daily assurance that she would get to go all day everyday just like sister. Last year in preschool was half day three days a week and she wanted more. The morning of school both of them came running to our room yelling it’s the first day it’s the first day. They scared me since I was asleep until this happened but hey at least I am not fighting them out the door. So we dropped Seriah off at the bus and I took Teleah into her school. I had to run in real quick to make sure the teacher got some info first so I told Teleah to stand in the kindergarten line and not to move and I would be right back. She said ok and was fine with that well on my way back out the kindergarteners were walking in but there was no Teleah! I asked where she was and went outside and there she was standing right where I told her not to move. Bless her little heart she listened so I got her inside and she could not wait she posed for pictures and asked me to take more pictures. She was very brave until about five minutes before school started then she started to shrink. She was a little nervous but the teacher took her hand since Teleah didn’t want me to leave and she walked in. I of course walked away but snuck back to make sure she was ok and she was. After school she was all smiles and wanted to go again. Both girls had a blast at school and told me all about it after school. One good day down. Iwill post pictures when I get them

baptism
this weekend Teleah was baptised. She has been asking to be baptised for about a year but we were unsure if she really understood what it meant so we had her wait. However this summer she started to be able to tell us what it meant and was able to explain it to us,so we agreed. What an awesome experience to see this little child with such a passion for Christ. She is so full of zeal. She even lead everyone in a song of I cling to the cross by the way her favorite song. Sean got to help baptise Teleah and he was thrilled to do it. Sean has now helped baptise both kids and it is such a blessing to have children who both love Christ with all of their hearts what else could I ask for.

OK Hello where has summer gone. On one hand it has gone very slow because I am so big and pregnant that it seams to drag on forever, though on the other hand it seams like the kids just got of of school. We got the info the other day for school registration and man it made it real. the girls were so excited though one Seriah loves school and would be in favor of year round. and Teleah just cant wait to go to kindergarten she cant wait to be there all day. I was reading the school supply lists to the girls and got some funny reactions. when reading Seriah's I think she realized the increase in the amount of folders and paper and not so many craft items I think the amount of work that fourth grade will require hit home. she said why so many folders and paper, I told her because there would be alot more work this year she just sighed. Teleah on of the things on her list was a beach towel (for rest time) she asked "oh we are going swimming in kindergarten." I said no it is for rest time she informed me that "rest time is not for kids who go to school all day" i just laughed. Teleah has asked for daily reassurance that she will go to school and come home at the same time as Seriah. she wants to make sure she'll be there all day.
I was looking at the girls the other day and man were has time gone, they are getting so big. I asked Seriah to hand something to her dad so he could put it on top of the fridge for her and she said I can reach. She then walked over and put it up there now this may not seem to big but when did my little girl get so tall that she can reach on top of the refrigerator. Teleah yes she is small but we are noticing so much change in her attitude daily she has calmed down so much and just acts so grown up. Maybe it is because we are getting ready for this new little guy and I'm looking at all these baby clothes but they are getting so big. So there is my rant.

two down and two to go
Well as many of you know this has been the summer of the babies at our church. The first two babies are now here the first was Hannah Grace, and now little Joshua David. They are both so precious and I just cant look at them enough. They give me constant reminder of what we are moving towards. Today was Laura's baby shower she is due in three more weeks yeah. It was so fun getting together with all the moms and discussing every one's tip from those who had just had babies to those who had grown children and even those with no current children. All the insight was great. I feel so blessed that God has given us this little guy growing in my belly as he kicks and moves around I feel so blessed. I cant wait to see his little face.

Good News
Well as many of you know we have been receiving a lot of difficult news at the doctors appointment for this pregnancy. However this time when we went it and had another sonogram the specialist said everything looked normal. Normal he said wow. The bowels were no longer showing up bright my placenta has moved up to where it should be. he still did not see the gallbladder but he said that does not really worry him. Plus the baby is measuring about two weeks big. So he is doing great. Hooray. we are still praying that he will not have cystic fibrosis but we wont know that until he is born. but prayer is already working with this little guy. thank you everyone for all of your prayers.

please pray
well today we had another sonogram for this young man inside me and we found out that there are some early signs that he may have cystic fibrosis. We knew this was a chance so we were prepared for this but we also found out that in the sono there was what they called bright bowels and that means that there is already stuff in the bowels and there is a chance he could be born with a perforated bowel. If that is the case he will have to be rushed straight into surgery to correct it before it causes trouble. So needless to say I am worried. Please keep him in your prayers daily it seams we are possibly fighting an uphill battle. I know Christ will get us up there but it is still hard. I do trust in him and know he is in charge.

Find the humor or you'll just bust!
Well today Seriah was home from school sick and I'm not all that convinced she should have stayed home but oh well. Teleah was in a playful mood all day. Then she went to school and when she got home, could not bring herself to stay inside since it was such a beautiful day. But who can blame her so I said she could go outside, Well then she wanted to play on the swing set I told her she could not go in the two person bench seats because they needed to be scrubbed down first and that she would get her pants all stained. She agreed and went out to play again. When I went to look out the back window at her and she was sitting on the swing she was told to stay off of but her pants were at her knees!!! I just about peed my pants laughing so I gathered my self to go and talk to her and when I got out there I learned her underwear where down at her knees also. When I asked her what she was doing she said she did not want to get her pants all ruined. So oh my I had one of those moments when you need to be serious in order for her not to do this again but I think I almost burst inside. Sean was loosing it inside and I told him if we don't see the humor what would we do. oh It still makes me laugh

our new news
well sorry it has been so long since my last update, but our computer has been down for a month. In this time we have found out that we are expecting a new baby in September. Teleah has turned five. Yeah Teleah, we took her to the American Girl Store for her fith birthday we had so much fun and then went to the rainforest cafe for lunch. Silly us we thought this would be a perfect place for lunch because she loves animals and always has. However she was scared and would not go any closer than 15 feet of the animals. She was sure they would get her and did not believe that they were not real. So we sat in the middle of the resturant as to not be close to any of them. So happy birthday we tramatized her. I will post pictures later.
Next week Seriah will do ISAT testing for the first time I think this is so dumb she is worried and there has got to be a better way to know what our children are learning. This testing just worries them or they give up. Maybe I am the only one who feels this way but there is my soap box so there.

to Santa or to not Santa

Well the other day I had to take the girls into the doctor again and as we were sitting and waiting for the doctor to come in the nurse asked Teleah so is Santa coming to see you and she says in a very monitone voice "Nope hes not real" very matter of fact way she said it to I almost choked and laughed at the same time. Seriah got all panicked and said yes he is. I asked Teleah why she thinks he not real she said well Anna told me and Emma doesnt believe he is real either. I said ok all the while Seriah is more panicked about this whole conversation. I told them some people believe Santa is real and some people believe he is not and if Teleah didnt want to believe she didnt have to and if Seriah wants to she can. I just found it funny that Teleah the youngest said this fact before Seriah. But then today Teleah was talking about Santa coming tonight so who knows. Se might believe but she also might not.
Today I fell on the ice and my kids just looked at me in shock. Then on the way home we did a donut in our driveway because of all this dumb ice I will be so glad when its gone.
I hope everyiine has a good Christmas tomarrow and remeber Jesus is the whole reason we celebrate this day. If not for him we would all be lost desperate souls wiith out any hope. He truly is the reason for every season.
